I would add some texture to the trees and some shadows in the folds of her dress and in her hair. Right now everything is on the surface. To make those rich, bold colors stand out, they need contrast and depth.
You most certainly may. I can use all the help I can get, as I have had no formal training. This was the only full photograph I could post that had no glare on it. I do have some photos that show the colours and details, such as they are. I'll post some of those as a reply in a short while. I would do it now, but I really have to get some other things done first.
I honestly do not know how to take photographs of my work that really show colour and detail. I have a website with my work, but I'm still trying to figure out how to do thumbnails and separate windows, so it's a bit ponderous at the moment. Not very pretty, either, as I write my own html for it.
