Of course Ethan would have The Key thing figured out, the gang are really terrible at lying. I loved Spike immediately jumping at Ethan. Ethan's done nothing to endear himself to the vampire and any danger to Dawn can't be taken lightly.
Ethan's proving to be valuable, though, finding the subtle clue in the Council file. Here's hoping it actually helps this time around.
Xander's story about the Disneyland T-shirt was charming. The emotions and memories these people share are real. That's what counts.
What the frilly heck is Willow doing back and why didn't she give the gang a warning? Off to find out.
You'd almost expect Ethan and Spike to be best friends, but Spike doesn't trust Ethan not to hurt the people he loves. Ethan needs to remember that. I always saw Ethan as really smart, so it's fun to let him contribute.
Xander holds on to people. He's not going to let Dawn go and she's knows it now.
I think it's universal - I don't think I got one disappointed 'oh no' when I brought Ethan back into the fold in this story. Everyone loves a sarcastic chaos mage. *g*
