That bit where Joyce teases Buffy about 'misplacing' her bra on her date is one of the funniest bits on the whole show. It was such a perfect match for when Buffy walks in on Giles and Olivia and tells him he can't be having sex because he's too old. Ah, the arrogance of youth.

She really did have the worst luck with boyfriends. I did love her little speech to Ben in canon about how they shouldn't go for coffee because it would lead to him leaving town...

This had me giggling.

Dang and it happened anyway, permanemtly. And they called Xander a demon magnet. Buffy was an lousy boyfriend magnet, so was Willow, so I never understood how they could point fingers at Xander.

Willow had the best partners of them all - she had Oz and Tara, who more than makeup for the internet-demon and Kennedy (sorry, never liked Kennedy)

It's painfully true, too! I also loved Spike's reaction to news of a potential new squeeze. Maybe this will give them a head's up about Ben.

I love that Spike wants to hang around to "meet" Joyce's date. By "meet" he means intimidate, so it's a good thing Xander's going to rescue the poor guy. I love that Buffy's willing to have Spike over after the second date to keep the guy from getting handsy. Buffy and Tara are showing Willow that Spike's a trusted member of the gang these days. Maybe they can convince Willow to give the vampire a chance. Spike may not care what Willow thinks about him, but Xander was just thinking the party would have been a lot more fun with his boyfriend in tow.

I totally see Spike "screening" Joyce's dates (as you can tell), and it's a good chance for Willow to see how everyone else has come to view Spike. Ok, Spike hates her right back, but it's awkward for poor Xander.

You read the whole thing in one weekend? *Boggles* I'm incredibly flattered and proud to have held your attention. It's been so much fun tweaking Joss' world for my own ends.
