Nothing the Same, Book 4, Ch. 32

I'm back!  I had a great time and for three glorious weeks I didn't think about work or anything else.  Instead, I visited pyramids, entered tombs, admired hieroglyphics, visited temples, rode a camel, cruised the Nile, and generally lived in another world.  But, now that I'm back, the boys are talking again.

What a relief that Spike handled Xander's visit to the Knights so well - I was a bit worried.

I loved this new/old chapter!

I love how Xander dealt with Spike's anger and diffused the situation. Yes, it was dangerous but he did gain information and possible allies.

And I admire how Willow was all concerned about Xander but really it's none of her business. Xander knows full well what Spike is all about.

Ah! Poor Dawnie! Xander is such a good, supportive friend.

And the ending? You evil tease!

*giggle* I'd love to pretend innocence, but the cliff hanger was always how this chapter was supposed to end. In a way, I guess it's good I didn't have a chance to finish the chapter before leaving for almost a month. That really would have been cruel. *g* More soon, promise.

Ack! Okay, really glad that you're back and that you had such an awesome time in Egypt, but damn what a way to leave the story after such a long absence.

I caught a couple typos in this chapter:

Fucking chainging you to the bed should be chaining

waiving at Tara as she stepped into the shop. She gave him a smile and a waive back - should be waving and wave
