At my last appointment, we found out that Gabrielle's heart looks really good. The doc actually said "beautiful"... so we are happy about that. They say she weighs aprox. 1lb 3oz. Other than that there isnt anything else to report... still love the new job... and other such stuff... yeah.

Gabrielle is a good name. Out of curiosity... have you had a baby shower? If I find out the date of it I might try to send you something that'll hopefully be there for it.

No baby shower... since I dont have any family here, they are just going to get me stuff off of my registry, or get me gift cards.

Not at all. I would like to have gone home, or had some family here, but it just isnt practical. They cant take off work and stuff for 2 days... and neither can I. Plus with me having the diabetes... it just makes it harder.

I'm glad to hear that the baby's heart is healthy and you're doing well. How far along are you now?

I am 22 weeks... which is approx. 5 months I think.

That must mean that Gabrielle is moving and kicking up a storm in your belly, yes? If I remember, babies start to get really active around five months.

I bet you're excited right now, yes?

Yes... she is most active at night... right before I fall alseep... or when I lay real still for a little while. It is pretty exciting, but its an odd feeling in my stomach.
