...that when you are thisclose to graduation, the institution conspires to kill you with work. Today I learned that my final for a bullshit English seminar is to be 25-30 pages. This on top of the 40 page thesis for my research class. In addition to what will surely be two 10+ page papers for the other two courses. In 8 weeks. Yeah, you do the math

Whoa...that is a fuckload of work to do. That's pretty cruel of NYU, if you ask me. It's like being in a marathon, and finally seeing a finish line... only to find that someone set up some horrible obstacle course right in front of it. Lame. But I have faith that you will kick ass as usual, and it will be over before you know it! Then you can go, "HA, NYU! In your fuckin' FACE!" ;)

The thing about the Disney script = insane amounts of awesome. I am so excited for you! I am sure it is an amazing script, and I hope the boss and then Disney realize how amazing it is. Seriously, that is so exciting. Go you! Way to kick ass at life!

I hope you have a marvelous Spring Break. Enjoy the ocean, but please avoid hypothermia. You have scripts to be made into fantastic films-- you can't contract hypothermia now! Hehe.

Well, now I find myself in a position of even more work/writing because.....*drum roll*

My boss likes the script, and he's willing to send it out to his contacts in animation/Disney/Dreamworks/and the like. However, he also gave me great feedback, so I've asked for another 2 weeks to do some rewrites and knock it out of the fucking park!!! As it is now, he doesn't think it is quite to Disney/Pixar potential, but possibly a straight to video sort of thing. Which is still cool, but I want it to be stellar.

Of course, this is all still speculative and a lot can happen in this business. But I believe in baby steps. ;)
