Looks like Roxas was wrong.
And then there was that guy selling those odd PokéGear devices in town that offered him one for doing some random task he couldn't remember.
All of this led up to him staring strangely at what was probably the third communications device he'd ever received. But any curiosity immediately went out the door when that voice came in. Admittedly, after his last run in with her in a new world, he had to hesitate for a moment -unsure if it was the version of her he knew. But there was just something about that voice that made him throw any sense of caution he'd developed to the wind and immediately reply.]
