This is great, at first I thought that Roan was being insensitive about the whole thing, but really, what would he know about the Jedi? I like the back story, very nice job (and I so can't wait for the next book, I hope Roan/Ferus live through all of this).

It's fun to write about the Jedi from the perspective of someone who doesn't know much about them. You have to admit they'd look pretty odd from the ourside. ;-)

This is great, I adore Ferus. I keep thinking of him every time I see that Padawan on the landing platform in front of Bail. Even though I know it's impossible because of the age and things I keep seeing a young Ferus.
I would love to see more of this, the character dynamic is excellent. Will they meet up with Mon Mothma and join the Rebellion? It would be really cool if they were there for the signing of the Corellian Treaty.

Makes me want to write an Aayla + Kit order66 fic now. Oh, how I cry every time she dies! Anyone wanne go see it an 8th time with me?

I love Ferus too! Ever since he first appeared, I thought he was an interesting character. I even wrote some Anakin/Ferus a while back... ;-)

I can't wait to see what Jude Watson does with them. I just hope she doesn't kill one of them off too quickly! *wibbles*

She won't kill them. Only female love-interests die. Besides, Ferus isn't a Jedi anymore, which means he's allowed to have some nooky. And remember, even Obi-Wan himself gave his blessing to Ferus's Tru Luv with Roan.

Oh, and cannot WAIT until you write more of this pairing!

N'Way.. Gosh, this is beautiful. BEAUTIFUL. Interesting that you put it through Roan's POV, and not Ferus, I bet many things has been going on in Ferus's head. Especially when Roan said 'You're not Jedi anymore.'
