CATS! Did you see a live performance of it, or the video that was put out of it like, I dunno, 10 years ago? I used to watch it over and over. I love Cats probably because it's mostly a dance-- I can never quite get over the 'Why the fuck are they singing? They're IN THE GROCERY STORE!' aspect of most musicals.
I know for a fact that there is Cats fanfiction, btw.
Onions! We can make a lovely beef stew. ::sobs hysterically::
Ooh, Good Live or High School Drama Club Live?
I mean, I like randomly singing, too, but so many musicals ALSO seem to be full of Insert Heterosexual Pairing Here, except with gooshy songs in. Annie Get Your Gun is pretty great, though. :D
Oh goodness, I stumbled upon that fic ages ago, and honestly couldn't tell you where it is now, although I do remember it was orange text on a black background. That... probably doesn't help you much. Try FF.net? I think it has a musicals section. ^^

Good live. Complete with shiny, expensive programmes that say things like "xxx has been studying dance since the age of five", and "xxxx has been involved in over 30 musicals".
I like Insert Heterosexual Pairing Here, too. Sometimes. Depending. I even like gooshy songs. Within reason; there are a few that make me want to kill things.
Annie Get Your Gun is pretty great, though. :D HAVE NOT SEEN. *cries* Apart from Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better, on YouTube. That's from that, isn't it?
Tried FF.net. Cringed in horror at some of the summaries. Still, there's enough there to hope that some it is good :P
Have you seen The Hogfather yet? Because that was, IMO, even better. Though marginally confusing in that they used the actor who played Rincewind as Albert. I'm still not entirely sure why...
I haven't, and I want to. Rincewind would make a good Albert, I think. Although clearly they did it to drive us insane, not realising we already were :P
I'm invariably suspicious when something I like has been turned into a movie, but Discworld. Done well *is happy* I'm glad you told me there were two; if that's the good one, then that's the one I shall watch, when I get to watch it.

LIVE!!!!!
I have also seen the video, though. Long ago.
I grew up with musicals, so I'm all in favour of people randomly singing, whether they're in the grocery store or not.

OMG WHERE?! WHERE IS IT? GIVE IT TO ME.
