Venting

ARGH. Why is it that every single semester when I start trying to put together the next semester's schedule, *everything* I want to take seems to end up being at the same time? Seriously, there are about 5 classes that are at the same damn MWF 10:10-11:05 time slot. And what really sucks is that 2 of those classes are classes I need to take to ( Read more... )

I always used to have that same problem. There are so many classes I wish I could have taken in college, but I always had to choose from overlapping timeslots.

It's so sad! I think I've developed a bit of a complex about this, actually, because several times I've made the wrong choice. Like, this semester I'm in a class called The Media and Identity, which should be interesting and is for my minor, but it is *horribly* boring....and I could have taken a class called The Molecules of Emotion at that time instead. Stupid me.

Well, since my actual advisor is in London, and he's actually the head of the English department, my "temporary" advisor is waiting to hear back from him with his thoughts. But she thinks I'll probably just need to talk to the two professors and see if I could do one of the classes online or something. :/ Not ideal, but I guess you do what you gotta do to graduate.
