I write to be read. Originally I started this blog so that my children could follow our cross country move from Florida to Oregon from the very beginning of the planning stage up to and including the physical move. I kept them informed day by day (or nearly). That process took about a year and over the course of that time I found that I really ( Read more... )

That's weird, because I have totally read your blog and Ohio doesn't have a little pointy dot.

This map shows data collected just today so if you haven't been there today, you don't show on this map. Sorry. Also, some of the mapping is off. For instance, there is Wisconsin on this map and I assumed that was you actually. :) Now I wonder who that might have been. :)

Also, if you subscribe and read blog posts in your email, it won't show up on the map.

I'll be updating in a few weeks with a new map. I hope it shows growth. Such fun.

You do show up now! :) Thanks for being there.

I had a few hits from various cities in Indiana the other day. I don't think I know anybody in Indiana, but then again, maybe I do. :)

It also depends on where someone's internet service provider shows that they are from - if I check sites at work (ahem), sometimes I show up as Atlanta, Georgia when I'm really in Harrisburg, PA. :-P

I love the map! What data collection service/website are you using?

The map changes from day to day. The west coast is definitely growing and the rest seems to be less consistent. Lake Park, Minnesota is a constant and yesterday Fargo started showing up. Not one hit from Florida. Isn't that amazing?

I guess because I work in Fargo and live in "Lake Park" -- which sounds a heck of a lot nicer than "Borup."
