Great Flood of 2007

Oregon got pounded by a powerful storm knocking down trees and power at the coast, inland in the valley it was the rain that caused havac. We got 6.5 inches of rain in just 48 hours. Having lived in Portland for 13 years, and recently relocated to Florida, it breaks my heart to see the damage caused by all of the flooding back home.

I drove through Mt. Hood after the flash-floods a few years ago; the devastation was unimaginable.

I hope life gets back to normal very soon.

We had flooding in our house. And my husband was the one who found the body floating in the river by OMSI ... not a good winter so far.
