Believe it or not, you AREN'T talking to yourself! :) (I have one friend on here who still posts almost daily. I only know her online, so that's how I catch up on her life.)
I had no idea you were back in school. That's exciting! I'm sorry you're struggling. That really sucks. I can sympathize somewhat, as I also cripple myself with the need for things to be perfect. Ugh. It's very tough, because you only have yourslef to blame. So frustrating.
I have no advice, but I think writing at all is good advice.
Wow! Hi! Thanks for the support. It made me happy to see your reply, but I will have to try to forget ever seeing proof anyone has been here while attempting to post. I am lousy at keeping in touch. Congratulations on your news, by the way! He or she is going to be a lucky kid. I'm really glad to see how happy you seem these days, and your boys are adorable.
Yay! Someone is using good old Livejournal again! Eat it, Facebook!
I want to barrage you with questions, but as Corinne used to say, "Shhh, you might scare her away!".
I, too, find writing excruciating because I also have a perfectionist streak born out of insecurity. Case in point, I just Googled "born out of" because it didn't look right, and indeed it's just "born of". Resisting...urge...to...correct...sentence.
Also, why did I bother pointing out that my perfectionism is "born of" / "born out of" insecurity in the first place? All perfectionism stems from insecurity; it's not worth mentioning.
Wow, we should have an angst-off sometime! --Then worry about who's "winning" the angst-off! ;)
Heh. That sounds about right. Questions are not too scarey as long as you promise not to be offended if I ignore them for long stretches or indefinitely. Expectations are what's scarey. I wasn't expecting to see you still around here. I had a peak at your journal and it looked like you only pop in on Greg's birthdays. Sometimes I forget I'm not the only reticent lurker around. Please read that last sentence in a way that is not insulting. It would be fun to hear more about you, if you ever feel up to it. In any case, thanks for saying hi.

Also no offense taken on the "reticent lurker" bit. ;)
