And you're quite welcome for the transcription. It took me four times to realize I could save the trouble of trying to memorize it by downloading it and pausing as I went along. Anyway, I hope band rehearsal and movie theater work don't turn you into a soulless robot, but I see not an iota of a chance of that happening, so I shall clap silently.
Erm.. Could you possibly send this again? I seem to have downloaded the version that tardis60 sent me and not this one... Which is very distressing to me...
Oh, and it is indeed Lennon. If you need help in identifying, I take it you don't own a physical copy of Revolver, which is IMO their greatest album, and includes a handy singer guide. Since it's obvious you don't own Rubber Soul (my second favorite), it sounds like you need to do some homework when it comes to lovely quartets from Liverpool, unless you have amassed a filthy amount of knowledge regarding Echo and the Bunnymen.
I really should listen to more Beatles... It's all a matter of laziness, to tell the cold hard truth. I have the One Singles album and the White Album and that's pretty much all I've heard...
And as for Echo and the Bunnymen I've only listened to Ocean Rain but I listen to it obSESSively and only haven't listened to more, again, out of laziness (mom has more albums, I just don't know exactly where they are and don't wanna look for them)
Oh, that Echo and the Bunnymen comment was just a joke, but I'm glad you adore them. All I have by them is Crocodiles, which I haven't exactly listened to obSESSively, but I still quite like it. It's just that given late-'70s/early-'80s post-punk groups, I'd rather indulge in Gang of Four or Joy Division, for example. But bah, I seem to be recommending too much music to you! On that note, I highly recommend William S. Burroughs' "Naked Lunch" and Sarah Vowell's "Assassination Vacation" if you need books to peruse, and film-wise, don't die before seeing "The Decline of Western Civilization II: The Metal Years".
Heh, that's kind of ironic cause today when my class was in the library, my friend found Assassination Vacation and pulled it out cause he thought the title was funny... I freaked out and started reading it instead of doing research... I fucking LOVE Sarah Vowell... I've read Partly Cloudy Patriot probably five times and I read one of her other books whose name I can't recall... I'm asking for Assassination for my birthday next month and reallyreally hope I get it cause I don't have time to read anything right now...
