You put it into words better than I think I ever could have.
I wish you would've been around at school so I could've had someone to share in my disappointment!

I can't believe America.

Yeah, but you have to remember,.. we voted Bush into office. It was pretty legit this time. So, that says a LOT about the people that voted. It wasn't even really all that close if you think about it, the only reason that Kerry nearly one is because he won California which counts for like a SHIT LOAD of electoral votes. So, in all reality, Bush was the more popular choice. =S
This leads you to wonder about what is going on in the minds of the American voters. I'm not nearly as disappointed as you are. But I totally respect yours and James and Molly's lament and disproval of Bush as a president. HOWEVER, I will ask you to keep something in mind. EVERYTHING.. I mean EVERYTHING happens for a reason, and this isn't over yet. I get the STRONG feeling that this is Bush' chance at redemtion. Don't worry too much. Things are going to be fine. And besides, it's only for four years. ;)

I know exactly what you mean, but the last part.. Well.. The patriot act 2 makes this country too unsafe for me to live in, and I know the right-wingers are going to start getting violent.. I'm afraid of being hurt or being put in jail, so I'm afraid I'll have to run, but I will still be involved..

BTW: I'm baaaaack. :)
