Even though it had Matt, it was still a very enjoyable story. It worked very well. Dare I say I enjoyed it...?

WORD. *thumbs up* I love stories told in the present tense, it makes you feel like you're right there in the moment with the characters.

And is it sad I was totally imagining the drink to be Southern Comfort, which seems very apropos in retrospect.
