I thought very hard about going into public policy advocacy, you know, as well as law. In the end I didn't because I wanted to work in something that allowed me to keep expanding and developing my magical skills.

I'm very sorry to hear things didn't pan out with the Committee. I can't say I'm terribly surprised though; Kenton's charm hides an unrelenting disposition and once you've run afoul of him there's not much to be done.

Harry is right, I do have a few thoughts on the matter. Tea at my cottage would be the best time to discuss them, if you're able to stop by.

I remember you telling me as much before I took the position, but I really believed I'd find a way around the problem, even knowing that not everyone considers the work itself the most important aspect of their jobs.
