So after chilling in the room all day because we needed to shower and couldn't leave until we were so fresh and so clean, we fell into the claw-like grip of hunger. When I was in Japan last month my boyfriend had this weird hang-up where he only wanted to eat in Japanese restaurants. My girlfriend and I opted for English cafes and burger places (if you ever see a Mos Burger or a First Kitchen, GO!) because they had picture menus or the menus were in kanji. We finally told him that if he wanted to he could walk into a restaurant by himself, not speak a lick of Japanese, and hope that maybe they will serve him.

And yes, we lived on conbini food too. <3 I miss Japan food! And if you guys come across these round, doughy bun things that are fresh out of the oven and covered in sugar (they may have them with cream and fruit in them too) BUY ONE! That is the most amazing pastry I have ever eaten, and in Osaka they were only 120 yen! I cannot express the goodness, or the name, of those things. They're round, there that should help. XP

Errr...when I said the menus were in kanji I meant katakana. Can't read too much kanji. ^^;
