The Comedy about the end of Time

When will I be able to see this fantastic Opera?
Will I have to put it on myself? I'd love to! But it's so huge!
I found the Karajan (?) version on vinyl a little while back, and I've listened to it three or four times since. I'd say it's Orff's best.

Who here has heard it? Let's talk!

This is the culmination of Orff's oeuvre - after Carmina Burana, he disavowed his older works and went in this direction (also see Antigone, etc.). BTW, the Karajan is the ONLY recording (and, I'm pretty sure, the ONLY performance ever). I contacted the manager of a soprano that sang in the premiere, and he said that UNITEL made a video recording. I'm trying to get my hands on that. There are also a few good essays and interpretations by Orff and by others (all of which are in German!), as well as the book from Schott Musik about the percussion orchestration in Comoedia and all of his other works (I'm getting it for Christmas!). If you find anything else, let me know! I also just got my hands on the score, and it's a bit wacky (and looks like it's been revised, as it's different in some respects from the recording.
bye!
