For me, the last week was a huge blur. I had promised a dear friend of mine, who is writing his first book, that I would beta-read his manuscript before he submits it to his publisher. i hate those super-rush jobs where you can't do the job you want to do because there is no time. anyhow, i'm sure you worked miracles in the time you had.

Somehow, I managed; however, when I had a look at the manuscript later, I realised I missed quite a few things. Oh well! I think he wants me to remain involved through the editing process, so I'm sure I'll be able to see what his editors decide when he hears from them later on... I'm just hoping that won't happen until after Easter. It's going to be a very busy March for both of us...

I think the relaxation will come a little later on. Right now, I just have to focus on getting better. (And for Fr. Roderick's sake, I hope he'll have a chance to rest his voice as he's been battling a cold and has been on the verge of losing his voice several times. Not a good thing when you rely on your voice for a living!)
