Insect eggs?

Thinning out a newly planted bed, seeded with beet, carrots, parsnips and rutabagas, I notice a great number of small round eggs. The were round, beige, and 1/8 to 3/16 in diameter. My first thought was that they must be cricket, wasp or grasshopper eggs since those were the only large insects that I've seen in the garden. I googled all three, ( Read more... )

Lizards/Skinks love to lay eggs in garden beds. Great additions to your garden if that's what they are:)

That would be great, I'm in Md. so the only lizard I'm used to seeing is sitting on my son's shoulder, it's his pet.

Spider? I don't think all of them use egg sacs...who knows, maybe they're ^*$#)(* stink bugs. ;)
