As some of you may or may not know, I've started applying to a number of colleges in order to finish my undergrad. At first when I started doing this I decided to not tell anyone about it because I thought that people might think less of me for being denied to school. You know, I miss our poker nights. So I'm down for any regular night that could get me away and out. I don't go out much anymore, because working in a bar kind of satiates the need for social interaction, but i miss the hell out of my friends. It's too bad that I missed Lisa's party; it would have done wonders for my psyche.

we are starting a pool league at the independence. we will play 9ball on wednesdays. it's only 20$ per person. season starts in about 3 weeks. lemme know.

I am glad that you know that when you fail at something, it shows that you had the courage to try. One of my favorite speechs is the Teddy Roosavelt one where he talks about the Man in the Arena, and he says that that man has only failed because he has tried great things. The sad souls who sit in the stands and know no joy nor sorrow because they don't try anything ( ... )

I second the "regular nite of doing something". It's so hard to find stuff to do on a whim that having something you do every week just makes life easier. Also, I would totally down with like a trivia nite or something.
