"The world gets scarier, but it also starts to feel real and true." That's interesting. I'm not sure what I think of that idea. I would argue that cognitive bias makes it possible to associate struggle with actuality which isn't necessarily the case. That is, we could just be fooling ourselves. I definitely think that scary and real don't have to be correlated but real life is hard. And I've had that conversation with a lot of people many times over. Maybe we're just searching for a word between Hard and Scary. IDK.
"And I'm slowly, slowly beginning to believe again that I'm worth being loved." It's one of the harder but more valuable things you can learn at all. It's a very, very worthwhile journey. Anyway, glad you're writing in here again and hope you're having fun with the boy.
