yesterday, my better half was feeling better, recovering from a cough/cold so we went to my friend scott's surprise b-day get together an hour+ away in tunkhannock, pa. it's very nice up there, although a little isolated. i drank beamish stout out of a quart mason jar. i also at the most delicious vegan cupcakes, bean dip, salsa and coconut cake ( Read more... )

I gave Bauhaus another listen this morning during my walk/run around the cemetery. Maybe it was the setting, but it wasn't as bad as I first thought. It's just more Murphy-ish that it is Bauhaus-y. Not that that's necessarily a bad thing. Maybe I was just expecting something from 20 years ago.

I really am liking the new Siouxsie, which ironically, is a solo album (sans the Banshees). It's much more like early Siouxsie and the Banshees than her last few poppy-dance albums have been.
