I laughed some :P I enjoyed reading this.

I think it's our intelligence conflicting with our hedonism which results in all this messy stuff. Humans really just want to fuck each other like crazy but the intelligence we have over other animals makes us feel 'moral' because we have a 'God' and the other animals don't (aka they're unaware of said God).. so we have to obey and be good, while they can just all go and fuck each other. :)

Plus I don't know if any other animals have STDS like we do :P

flies all
the way back to thier nesting areas each year and meets back up with the
same mate.. copulates with her, and raises thier young.. then repeats the
same cycle each year....with the same bird..

and yes peguins do that too, they just don't fly

Excellent, nobody see's this comming. Alright, here's the basics as I see them.

Your analysis didn't mention the rearing habits of young, much. Considering that human's have society, when a woman gets pregnant, she needs to be taken care of. 9 months in total, several of which she is very vulnerable, and then years of having to raise and teach the child. In a society where people cared for one another, a specific mate might not be required, but: Man = Imperfect. Hmm out of time, more to come.
