have you ever (in your relatively adult life) woke up from a nightmare crying or at least upset? not that you couldn't escape the dream or you were afraid of it really happening...something that is only in movies, but you were so undeniably scared that you could not shake that upset feeling?

i had one this morning.

He doesn't know what comes with dreams... )

*holds your hand*

I hate those kind of dreams, but then again, when I look back at them sometimes I realize they were more entertaining and worth it than some of my half dreampt ones.

i almost always force myself to stay asleep so i can see where my nightmare is going, because i'm usually interested in the story. but i couldn't take anymore of this one. i just couldn't.

nightmares... sometimes i wish i had them, sometimes i don't, i like that rush, the paranoia. but what i don't like isthe after effect, the dwelling of thoughts deep within the back of your mind that lingur untill your next dream.

they are entertaining, like your own horror movie. but i can see why you woke your self up. from what i got of it. sounds like it was bad.

Do I need to sit by your bed singing lullabies?

awwwwwwww. you're so darn sweet.

i love you so much for the thought, and that would be so great, but i think my family might freak if some tall rebel with long hair and a godzilla penis was in my room...

Meh. I'll just hide under the bed, then.

(Or in the closet. That would afford me the opportunity to sing that god-awful R.Kelly song.)

Shit, that's terrible. I'm so sorry. Take or leave this advice...

...don't write down your dreams. I used to, but then I started having horrible nightmares and I remembered them.

Huh. I used to do that and I hardly dream at all anymore.

i had this one reoccurring nightmare as a little girl. and i typed out what i remembered from it. anytime i was scared or upset or just needed to get away from people, i went to the story and added and elaborated and grammatically altered. after a year or so, the dream stopped and i had a pretty good story. i still have it saved on a floppy somewhere. :)

That's awful. I'm sorry, luv. *snuggles you*

I had a nightmare like that where I woke up crying...about three years ago now, I think. It wasn't scary like yours, more of an emotional thing, but still...

*snuggles more*
