Basically she was saying how she missed some friends she made in an online game room and how its so hard to make online friends matter and how you don't really

You certainly do have a choice in it o.O I know I've salvaged friendships with people I grew out of touch with simply by persistently contacting them and actually communicating again. In most cases it works.

Not always. Like I said before, if they block you or change emails or just ignore you... nothing you can do about that. And sometimes just trying to be persistant will piss people off and make them block you.

That's why I said most cases. I was speaking more of people who have just drifted apart. Parting with angry/hurt feelings is another story entirely.
