I had a mid-term in my japanese class last weds. It was horrid. The thing was 3 pages long with a lot of detail being asked for. The class had 50 minutes to finish and just to give an idea at how hard this test was, the people I'd classify as 'A' students were finishing the test up as the prof called time. I left that test thinking I failed,
