My thoughts on working in a team/small group

I work in a small IT department of 6 technical people of varios skill levels for a fairly good size company with over 30 servers both physical and virtual along with about 200 users. Ignore them, don't remove them from the email list, and keep doing what you are doing. If the folks above you like what you are doing, there's no reason to change. Nor should you intentionally exclude someone from good information, as that will look bad to everyone but him, and he's the one who doesn't matter much here.

Ask the CIO - if that is who he chooses to communicate with. Does the CIO want to be bothered with sending him vital information? or does he want you to ignore him?

If the wiener is so knowledgeable he knows how to set up a filter and ignore most of the information.
