... So I've read somewhere that Vietnam's stereotype is that she's in love with Russia and that she's a little more kickass than what I'm characterizing her right now, so~ character adjustment, goooooo!

No more half being afraid of Russia, I guess.

So does that mean you're going to start playing Vietnam as a less batshit crazy terrifying version of Belarus?

Because that's what came to mind with "in love with Russia".

niiiiiiiiiii-san...niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii-san, now can we get maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarried? JEEZUS.

When I thought of Belarus!Vietnam, I thought of Russia!China.

Vietnam: CHINA, CHINA, WANT TO GET MARRIED? ♥
China: [aghast.] NO, GO HOME!
Vietnam: BUT I'LL EVEN LEARN MANDARIN AND CANTONESE FOR YOU...!

But haha, I'm not too sure? I really doubt that Vietnam will be anywhere near as obsessive as Belarus is... and as funny as it would be to have her go, "RUSSIA~ ♥"... for modern day Vietnam, it's probably just a lingering crush and a strong bias to think that Russia is right except when Japan intervenes; her adoration for Japan kind of overrules her infatuation with Russia in my head.

"I... I wouldn't mind becoming one with Russia~ but... China won't let me... ahhh, and I kind of like being independent..."

Good lord, Russia!China.

China: GO HOOOOOOOOOOME, ARU!

Man, would that make Hong Kong Liet in this situation? Or Estonia? Because, I mean, really, Hong Kong's kinda the favorite child of the children that will actually put up with China's shit sorta...

I BET THAT TAIWAN IS UKRAINE IN THIS SITUATION. *terrible*

Vietnam: BUT BROTHER... I LOVE YOU! ♥ AND YOU'RE ALWAYS INVADING ME ANYWAY.

Hong Kong would definitely be Liet in this situation since China seems to be fond of seeing Hong Kong's troubled face~.

... LOL, POOR TAIWAN.

No more being afraid? Pffft, naw, I'm sure you can keep that. I mean, from the way I play Seychelles, she is both creeped out by France but simultaneously gunning for real, honest to God affection from him. Give up, dear. It's a lost cause. If I can do that, I'm sure you can do what you like with how Vietnam feels about Russia, too.

And P.S.: HIIIIIII!

Sorry. That was just such a baaaad choice of icon I could not allow it to go on existing.

Well, before she was afraid of him because I figured that if China's afraid of him, Vietnam would be too... but I'm just a little iffy about how to go about it. I think that her stereotype of being in love with Russia comes from Vietnam's loyalty to the USSR when China's relations with the Soviet Union was deteriorating... but personally, I think that is because when it comes to choosing between China vs. Other, the other choice is always the lesser of the two evils for Vietnam. After all, China to Vietnam is Russia to the rest of the world... but she does love China... deep, deep down because she loves family over all else.

PS: Hi~! I should interact with you more often--haha, we can share stories about France. =w=

Haha, I was going to start a response but then the comment suddenly disappeared.

Aah, that's true. I don't think China understands the hurt he causes others, you know? And I say that even though Seychelles apparently kind of loves him...

And yeah, we should share stories! I don't think they'd be good ones, though...

Haha. I think China's just trying to make everyone happy, but he's failing miserably... and he's kind of possessive. I really wish China was more active so I can interact with him and see how their relationship would define itself within nation_ask.

And yeah, anything involving France tends to get inappropriate very fast...
