That lentil concoction I make, the stuff I call soup? It's garbage. I'm reminded of this everytime I go to one of the many Middle Eastern restaurants that are walking distance from my apartment

It was intoxicating! And cheap, I got soup, spinach pie, pita bread and falafel + my tea for about $10. The cinnamon in the mint tea is such a nice touch.

falafels are amazing. Yum. In Milwaukee, the Milwaukee public market had the best falafel sandwiches and cucumber sauce. mmmm.

I never got a chance to try the ones at the market. I've been hurt a few times, the falafel at Beans and Barley is horrible.
