Yamada Taro Monogatari is so much ridiculous love. Nino is so freakin cute I can't stand it. Of course, I don't know the original story so I can't say whether or not it actually holds true or not, but it's one of two jdramas I've been rec-ing endlessly this season (the other being HanaKimi).
