eeek, can't decide on next term's classes! Registration is in a week. Currently, I'm trying to decide between these two:
--> science & society - fulfills honors credit and a GE
--> bioterrism - filfills the same GE

Help! I technically could take both, but it'd be an inconvenient use of time. *sigh* The latter interests me more and isn't often offered ( Read more... )

Ah, the classic approach-approach dilemma; well is seems that you'll have to ask yourself which is most important, graduating with honors or finding out about the germs and chemicals used by terrorists. As for me, it seems that science and sosiety would have more pratical application than bioterrorism as it gives you an edge in jobs and how to apply your field. It also might contain a slight psychological aspect and thus include less chemistry, maybe. Bio terrorism would seem to get into more chemical though. It really depends on your preference. As for me, I'd choose the former.

BTW, the links are broken, probably because you need a password to get in. Ta ta.

You're taking the description to the extreme - it's not like I *won't* graduate with honors if I take the second class. It'll just be a tad harder (unless I find other classes in my requirements that also fulfill the needed honors units). And I still think the bioterrorism class is far more interesting. After all, I'm a chemist-in-making...

The server was flooded yesterday and the entire online schedule of classes didn't work for a while. The links should be working again now. :)

Well then, you'll just have to make the choice between bioterrorism and a slightly harder honors status to obtain. See you're making this choice easier already. (:

yeah yeah... well, in terms of pure subject material, which would you recommend?

I'm leaning towards the honors seminar, but still rue the bioterrorism. By the way, I'm thinking of modifying my major! Very exciting. :)
