Bio
My name is Yannie; it's a nickname based on my Chinese name, which is Yan. I was born in Hong Kong, but went to school (and am still living) in Canada. I'm an University student: English major and Japanese minor. I'm a writer, above all else. I love travelling, though I don't get to do much of it; all those cities listed up there in my topbar are all places I've either visited or lived in. :D
I like to think of myself as creative; I love to write, I love to draw but i love writing more in recent years, I read, I play music, I sometimes paint (though I prefer sketching) and I never stop thinking about what next to write, or other creative/artistic ideas. I'm happiest when I'm creating. I love photography, even though I don't have a terribly good camera, and I have to admit, I'm a bit of a camera whore in that I love taking pictures.
I'm also a fashion whore in that I love anything to do with clothes and looking pretty ♥ If I could choose an ideal job out of anything in the world, I would probably choose modelling just because I'd get to try on pretty clothes and get to pose for pictures all day. Which is strange, because all through my teenage years, I was kind of shy; I still am, sometimes, but I'm overcoming that :D
I love music too, though, so maybe my ideal job would be something to do with playing music. I have too many things i love to do, maybe. XD But yes, that's me. Mostly. I have personality quirks, but those you'll figure out as time goes on, most likely.
