My Eucerin Holiday giveaway prize from diaperderby!

My Christmas holiday was really sweet, thanks in part to Jennifer from Diaper Derby adventures:

I won her awesome giveaway few weeks back!  yea!!  Jennifer was always on top of informing me when my prize would arrive...in spite of the days becoming closer to Christmas!  Please check out her blog at http://diaperderby.blogspot.com/

I want to share some pics of my loot.

Before I do, I just want to give my little humble opinion about Eucerin.  Eucerin gives samples/coupons on Facebook from time to time as well as a giveaway on a wonderful blog like Jennifer's.  They also give out generous samples to doctors offices as well, and I have handed over samples to patients who needed them.  I recently tried them just a year or so back after working a dermatologist's office.  I like that these are unscented but dont 'stink' like typical unscented items.  These are just 'unscented', if you get what i mean.  LOL  I also like that the quality.  Eucerin quality is exceptionally good for a drugstore brand.  It does what it claims to do without the 'razzamatazz'.

Now onto my package....(click for larger pics)

I received  my prize about a week of winning, and wow, what a huge box.  It was the priority mail large size box and was pretty heavy.  I started feeling the 'holiday cheer' when i first opened it as I saw the red and silver tissue wrappings with little snowflakes confetti speckled everywhere!

And the personal note from the Eucerin marketing team gave the package more personal touch.

wow!  These cosmetic bags are huge...the largest I have ever owned.  They are handmade and are *very* well made with a tough heavy cotton fiber that is also quite soft to the touch.  The bags are nicely quilted and have a thin padding to them.  Very ethnic-like.  I really like them! I think I will use them to store my heftier beauty stuffs; and definitely will use these for travel. Maybe someday if I have a dslr camera, I can fit the camera or lens in one of these....maybe too risky, huh?  For sure, these bags will get some good use.

(please forgive my awful nailpolish...I was testing magnetic polish in sephora. LOL)

The zippered dark blue polka dotted cosmetic bag is the largest of the two.  It contained three items: the Eucerin Plus Smoothing Essentials Fast Absorbing Body Lotion (16.9 fl. oz.), Eucerin Calming Body Wash (8.4 oz.), and Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief (6.8 fl. oz.).  Yeap, they are that huge!  Til recently, I didnt know Eucerin had such a wide range of body care....I only knew Eucerin sold sunscreens (which i use regularly) and is known for their calming cream.    I myself cannot wait to use the body wash.  I tested a little sample on my hand and it is quite oily...perfect for dry winter season and a little goes a long way in usage.  I am keeping the Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief on my medicine cabinet.  I wonder if it could take the place of cortisone in insect bites.  It worked wonderfully when I used it on my feet when they were just suddenly got itchy and was quite dry.  As for the Eucerin Plus Fast Absorbing lotion:  I have not opened nor tried this yet.  I do like that this particular lotion has alpha-hydroxy acids which scientifically exfoliates, giving a more youthful skin.

The other bag is finely striped bag with predominantly blues.  It is a tad smaller than the previous bag but not too much.  This bag included:  Eucerin Calming Crème (8 oz.), Eucerin Plus Intensive Repair Hand Crème (2.7 oz.) and a full-size Sephora holiday nail polish in Chest-nuts over you (forgot to take of pic of this).  I already have the hand creme in the glove-compartment of the car.  So convenient for on-the go.  I also like how thick it is too without feeling like a typical body butter (which it isnt).  I havent tried the  Calming Creme nor the Sephora polish.  The polish is pretty neutral metallic color that is quite not my style--i love metallic but hate removing them.

All in all, I felt so blessed having such an overabundance of HUGE goodies in one package!   I love all of them.  I most likely will end up gifting or donating the Eucerin Plus Fast Acting Lotion and Eucerin Calming Creme to a local shelter or my relatives back in Asia.  I know they can appreciate these and get MUCH more LOVE than I.  I already own so many lotions from sales, samples, promos, etc. I hate hoarding items I know I will rarely use (been there and done that with makeup, and ended up with expired items....NOT COOL!  >_<)

Wow, I said much.  Thank you for reading this far.  Hope you all will get to try out some of the products in the Eucerin line.
