So I wanted to get involved with something to do with costumes out here, so I helped out at the SF Mime Troupe for a spell. It was lovely; kind of like what I had once thought working on film & TV sets would be like, before I ever set foot on one. Everyone multi-talented (last year's costume designer was this year's actress and puppet-maker),

You do seem happier on the West Coast (although, of course, I'm reading that into photographs of people I don't really know.) Like you have a tribe there.

I dunno, though. Gotta assume TV pays fabulously, and you're union now. Possibly you become like Persephone or some sort of migrant worker, spending six months of the year underground. Money is so useful.

Glad to hear the SF Mime Troupe is still alive and well.
