Poor John, his stupid work is being, well...stupid again.  He is a security guard, and he works the midnight to 8am shift.  The person who works from 8am-4or 5pm is supposed to be relieved by a cop....well these cops aparently find it not important to show up.  So last night John was called into work at 8pm, so he was there 12 hours.  This is ( Read more... )

you are preaching to the choir sister. That's EXACTLY what happened with Tony's last job with woods!!! He's the ONLY responsible person that was working there so they'd end up calling him to take shifts or he'd stay over (it's an emergency place so you can't just leave someone HAS to be on, just like John's work) 2 or 3 shifts because someone couldn't come in.
Yah he left his pager (they made them keep one) at home because I knew they'd page him even though we both got our vacations approved.
After awhile, (even happened at my work too) Tony would stop calling them back. He'd delete the message and just not bother. He was sick of being the only one to do anything around there or work. It happened with my work too, I was soo freakin' pissed off because whenever someone would call out or leave early, they'd stick me on their shift and make me do their job and I'd end up staying later due to it. Wasn't fair and that's another reaon why I'm glad that I'm gone from there.
Take care ♥ *hugs*

Yeah that sucks. I told John to just leave his phone at home for our wedding and reception. I don't know, maybe they won't call, and that would be great, but if they did, I wouldn't be surprised.
