Portland: gather at 5 pm in Monument Sq on the day that we hear that bombing has begun. If news comes later than 5pm, gather thre next day at 5pm. There are plans for this to be a noisy but peaceful action, so bring your drums and your voices. I would like to go... we just may get down there late. I am having work done on my car so H and I have to get to saco before the garage closes (if its ready). I'm sure it will all be going on for a while.
Did you hear portland-er's were arrested yesterday in the protests/deomostration?

yeah. they staged a sit-in in the middle of the street. i respect their right to protest in the way they see fit but i don't see how that helps get the anti-war message across. hope we see you tonight!

p.s. how's everything else?

everything else is ok i guess. How is everything else for you?

I agree I don't know that blocking traffic is the best way... it certianly doesn't help people on the outside take the anti-war movement seriously. Though maybe I just don't understand their motive.
