I think I'd need paid work references. Besides you, there are a couple of people I could tap for volunteer references. But I really think I need people I've worked with/for for references.

The biggest downfall is that I don't have contacts with them. While we were all friendly at work, we weren't necessarily friends.

I vote for stalking.

Also, when you've got "gaps" in your resume such as now where you simply can't get employeed, people do like to see volunteer work....it shows that you were "dedicated and looking to gather more experience by helping out the community while continuing your job search."

: ) The economy will eventually pick up. Do everything in your power to be prepared for that moment. Including more stalking. :P

David still works at Wendys. I'm pretty sure you worked with him cause he's been there forever. I dunno if he remembers you or not though, but he is co-manager there now. *shrug*
