She liked to tell me when we were dealing with the chickens. It made me think that if any of our chickens lost their heads, they would do the same.

I would not be surprised! I am sure Oma and Opa would not let the chickens suffer like that, however.

We had to eat them, yes. But I am sure it would be quite the sight, to see a chicken without a head.
