I've been meaning to post a general update, but I've also been not feeling well. The short of it is, I'm playing Pseudo again. No word on when I might be back into update mode, but we shall see

* Honestly, I didn't know what to think of Opie for the longest time. She was not quite what I expected or wanted out of a pairing between Brody and Deena. I've come to love her and her complicated connection to the family.
* Count Robi is the big one in my story. They're meant to be together and he's about the only person she's ever remained faithful to. But at the same time, I'm also a big fan of her and Toby Biggs in Sarah's Piratical story. :)
* Ian - See what I said about him. :)
* Opie is difficult to write at times. She has learned to do the right thing, but there is a degree of selfishness there still coloring her actions.
* Ophelia's story is mostly done in the spotlight of the story. I will say, though, if Rachel ever becomes a mother, she's going to be a force of nature as a grandmother.
"I will say, though, if Rachel ever becomes a mother, she's going to be a force of nature as a grandmother."
As if it could be any other way. The crazy part is when I read that I imagined the other grandmother being Alexandra Legacy Smith. Can you imagine having both of them as your grandmothers?
* As a character, I absolutely love Jo to pieces. She's fun to write and follows in the footsteps of awesome youngest child of the family. I will say, though, I am a little disappointed in her genetics. She was the only one of the kids who could have actually been a legitimate blend of her parents and she ended up looking exactly like her father (and thereby Lou

* It always surprises me that more people don't love Elijah like I do. When people talk about favorites, they always bring up Ian or Brody or Miranda or Star. For me, Elijah is one of my favorites.
* Shelby. Only Shelby. He's a romancer and if he'd never met her, he would have happily loved a lot of women, but there is only one that ever gave himself to completely.
* Steve. I could say the Wrecking Crew, which would be true to a certain degree, but they all grew up and forged their own lives. Steve McQueen Bigfoot is the one 'person' who was there to see Elijah through what they faced on Monkey Island.
* I was all set to have Elijah be a dog. I mean, he was a romancer and when he was a teen, he loved flirting with almost anyone. I fully expected to have him be an unfaithful husband to whoever he married for expedience sake. Then he met Shelby. That was all she wrote.
* Grandchildren. On so many levels, there will be grandchildren.
* Of course, I adore her. I adore pretty much all of my sims. Lou, though, has had my heart since she turned into a toddler and I saw that streak of messy and outgoing and learned she was going to be a knowledge sim. Star may write herself, but Lou's not far behind.
* Definitely *TRUCK*. They're going to be a power couple and I already love them to pieces.
* Star. Definitely Star. Love doesn't have to be romantic be strong enough to save your life.
* For as smart as she is, Lou is a bit of an idiot. She gets caught up in her own thing and forgets the rest of the world. This is not something that's going to change in the foreseeable future, even if she starts to understand it's a personality flaw.
* Lou is going to lose the love of her life in the worst way possible before she has a chance at happiness.
* Oh my sweet, dim Micah. I knew I liked pop sims when I made Taylor and founded the legacy, but it was Micah who reinforced how awesome they really were. He was, hands down, my favorite of his generation. Persephone was heir and Brody got the bigger story, but Micah was my baby.
* It honestly doesn't matter who I ship with him because he chose Genesis and that's that.
* Probably Brody. To be completely honest, they were clones of one another, but as characters they couldn't be further apart.
* Even though he's my favorite, I never wanted him to be heir. I wanted to give him a happy little life away from the chaos of plot. Some sims I regret not doing more with, but Micah got exactly what I wanted to give him.
* He's gone now, but his family is still going strong in the background. He was the best grandfather ever and ended up with ten absolutely lovely grandchildren who are going to continue being awesome.
