Being Happy

Sometimes the way to knowing what'll make you happy is listening to your gut feeling. Today I was looking into art schools (namely SCAD here) and I started to feel really excited and upbeat. Comparing to a feeling of dread or resignation I get when considering other paths. Not that I'm about to pack up and move to Georgia. It's just a feeling I get

Maybe packing up and moving to Georgia isnt' what you want, but have you considered just taking some art classes while you're in champeign? Check with the continuing education school, they've some sort of credit-by-credit pay system, you take just 1 class a semester or so, and before you know it you're learning all sorts of things.

You don't always have to be on a degree path to learn.

p.s. if you go to georgia, we'll have to visit.

It's all true, but part of me wants to have that degree almost to prove that I did indeed learn something. Or maybe it's that having a degree in art makes people take your abilities more seriously. I guess that's probably not the right reason to go back to school.

P.S. You would totally have to visit because we'd be so close. But I don't know if I'll ever make it out there.

Just saying you have tons of options, don't be afraid to explore them.
