The whole purpose is to try something new and actually bring in more fighting games instead of playing the same psuedo-fighting game every year (SSBB). I have asked several people to enter though I'm pretty sure they'll flake out on me (though I doubt they'll be huge anyways) and I might need help running them since I'll most likely be short staffed.

It's easy. I taught Adam Kilcher how to play Soul Calibur 3 in five minutes. Just spam the good stuff; people just won't know what to do

If you want you can borrow my copy of Soul Calibur 2 for PS2 for the tourney. I'll have it behind the Rising Stuff booth just in case.

The decisions on which system to use have to do with how many of which console we have available for the convention. I wasn't in the room, but I bet it came down to this: Most people are familiar with the four button layout found on the XBox/PS2 version for controller issues, and we have hardly any Xboxes and we have a ton of PS2s. So, they went with PS2.
