I once read on a starbucks cup that "we are defined by the things we cannot let go of". I guess that makes a pretty good argument for minimalism - if you want to change your life, clean out all the stuff you don't want to define you any more. 1. Moved, forget if I posted that.
2. Quit job. Couldn't possibly be happier.
3. May or may not have job at Starbucks. More to come.
4. Mom is visiting - hilarity ensues.
5. Picking up new kitty next weeked hopefully. :3

Today was an extremely random day. I didn't have to work... so I hung out with Emily. While sitting, she was having a cigarette, we saw some woman biking and sort of clip a car and leave a little dent. We laughed a little. So that big subway closure turned out to be a bomb scare. This happened last year when someone left their briefcase on the platform at a station and they shut down the whole line........ it turned out to have paper inside. Because it was a briefcase. I have spent my day explaining limits (ie: calculus styles), being stoned (ie: weed styles), and fending off lame wannabes who like to talk about their roommates (ie: falling asleep styles...).

It's strange how having to help a friend with a broken heart makes your own seem... less intense? Is that the word? You know when you get that random urge to just DO something... well I did. I'm in Ottawa, I'll be here until Sunday. I don't know, I woke up in the middle of the night last night, after some rather... interesting events and phone calls and just said "I want to be home this weekend". SO here I am. Call me people.
