Long time to dry is right. And liquid latex is smelly as well. And getting it in hair is no fun.
Cold to apply and it can be hard to remove. Though, ironically, rubbing at it usually helps.
Oh! And in my expereince, the first time you remove liquid latex from skin (without a solvent, also scary, smelly stuff) it doesn't hurt, but the second time within a week, it does! By the end of a run-week for the haunted house, people's faces are so red and damaged from removing special effects appliances, it's scary.
