Comments: I suck at updating quickly :0 As always, sorry for the delay :3
Bright white lights blocked a little by fuzzy shadows. Stiff material. Smells of disinfectant everywhere. Low voices, murmuring sadly.
"Will they be okay, doctor??"
"Uruha definitely will, Aoi probably will. They both suffered serious wounds."
Those chattering voices were really starting to annoy Uruha. He wished that they and the bright lights would leave him alone so he could sleep. All he wanted was to be sucked into the comfortable black again. To be able to see that beautiful black-haired boy again. Uruha couldn't find a name for that face, even though it was there on his tongue, just out of his reach. Maybe if he reached a little bit farther......
"Aoi..." The honey blonde whispered as all of his memories rushed back to him. His head felt like it would explode as the full force of what happened that night hit him like a lead pole. Not being able to handle it all at once, Uruha let out a loud, heart wrenching, blood-curdling scream of fear and pain. He sat bolt upright in bed, his eyes snapping open.
He was not ready to take everything in. His memories, or his current surroundings. People: his parents, Aoi's mom, and a very worried looking doctor instantly crowded around him, trying to soothe his pain-fried mind. But he wouldn't have any of it.
"No! Get away from me! Get away!" Uruha screamed to the mob of people, putting his hands up to cover his burning eyes. Then, he remembered his purpose.
"Aoi! Where is my Aoi?!?! Is he okay?? What did you people do with him?! Let me see him now!" Ripping his hands away from his face, Uruha faced the world he was not quite ready to see, only for Aoi. He ripped the IVs out of his arms and hopped off his bed, only to lose his balance and fall.
Just before he hit the ground, the doctor caught him, saying, "That's quite enough, Uruha. Now stay in bed and get some sleep. You'll hurt yourself even more. Besides, Aoi has not woken up yet. He doesn't need you hindering his recovery. It seems you've made a full recovery, but he hasn't. Let him be."
"No! Let me see him! I won't bother him, and then I will rest if you want me to." Uruha pleaded, ready to get down on his hands and knees and beg if he needed to.
"Please, just let him see Aoi." Uruha's mom begged, coming up to stand behind her son. Uruha was surprised when she intertwined her hand with his. She had never been so nice and supporting of him in his entire life.
"...Okay, as long as Aoi's mom agrees." Uruha could tell as the doctor said that that he hoped Aoi's mom would say no.
"Of course! I think it will help Aoi heal. Now come on, I think we should let Uruha be alone with Aoi." Aoi's mom said, smiling and winking at Uruha, as she herded everyone out of the room.
Aoi was in that very room, but his bed was surrounded by a long curtain. Uruha cautiously pulled back the curtain and kneeled at Aoi's side. His eyes overflowed with tears as he took in Aoi's bandaged and bruised body. Aoi looked so beautiful and peaceful as he slept, even though his body was badly beaten up.
Uruha reached out his hand and delicately traced the outline of the raven-haired's face, and then his lips.
"I'm so sorry that this happened to you. I'll make sure that you get better, my love..." The honey blonde whispered, pushing Aoi's silky raven hair away from his face.
Aoi's full, soft, pink lips were right in front of Uruha, and he couldn't stop himself. "I love you, more than you know." He whispered against Aoi's lips, before kissing them lightly.
"And I love you too, more than what should be humanly possible." Uruha was flipped on to the bed as Aoi whispered into the kiss.
"Aoi! You're awake! But wait, I can't be on your bed, I'll hurt you!" Uruha exclaimed, quickly and gently pulling away.
"No. Stay with me baby. Please?? It doesn't hurt, t'll help me heal!" Aoi persisted, pulling Uruha back down so that his blonde head rested on his well-built chest. Uruha gave in, letting Aoi wrap his arms around his waist and snuggle in closer.
Aoi still needed his rest, so Uruha sung softly to him. Soon, they were both asleep in each other's arms. When the doctor came in, he was mad. But Aoi's mom insisted that they be left like that.

Aoi woke up the next morning bright and happy. He was even happier when he saw Uruha still by his side, arms still locked around him, asleep. The morning sun shone brightly through the small window in their hospital room. The rays of light lit up Uruha's face, making him look even more angelic. Aoi wanted to tough the silky soft hair that looked like a pool of gold in the sunlight.
As if he knew that Aoi was staring at him, Uruha woke up with a soft yawn.
"Well good morning, sleeping beauty~" Aoi nuzzled his nose into Uruha's hair, inhaling the sweet scent.
"Hey, that tickles!" Uruha giggled happily.
"Oh, that tickles, huh?? Well, see how you like this!" Aoi rolled on top of Uruha, mounting him and tickling his sides.
"Oh! hahahahaha...s-stop! Hahahahaha, take this!" Uruha giggled even more, tickling Aoi on the back of his neck.
"No! Uru, how did you find my weakness? Hahahaha!"
Stomachs hurting from all the laughter, they collapsed on to the bed.
"Hey Uruha...thanks for saving me." Aoi pulled the blonde into a tight embrace.
"Aoi, are you okay?" Uruha asked, looking deep into the other's eyes.
"Yeah, I really am. My wounds are pretty much healed."
"No, I mean emotionally."
"......Yes, I guess I am. It's all over now. We're both okay and Shou's locked up. Somehow, with you here with me, I'm truly okay. I'm over it, I'm going on with my life. I'm happy, with you." Aoi spoke the truth, and he could tell that Uruha knew he was. All Aoi felt now, here with Uruha, was pure happiness.
"Well, it looks like you two are all better. You can both go home, but Aoi will need to be taken care of 24/7 for a few days, just to make sure that he's really okay." The doctor announced as he entered the room with Aoi's mom. "Oh, and Uruha, your parents had to go. Your father had to go back to work."
"Oh, that's okay. It's always like that." Uruha said, smiling and rolling his eyes.
"...I will stay home from work and take care of Aoi." Aoi's mom told the doctor kindly.
"No! Mom, I'll be fine. We need the money!" Aoi exclaimed. He couldn't be a burden to his mom who always worked so hard to give him a good life.
"Hey you guys, I can take care of Aoi at my house. That is, if that's okay with everyone." Uruha announced, looking at Aoi and his mom.
"Oh, dear, that would be wonderful! You're such a good child!" Aoi's mom smooshed bot Aoi and Uruha into a big hug, as if Uruha were part of the family already.
"...Okay, if you really don't mind me burdening you..." Aoi said softly, head down, blushing.
"Nope! You're never a burden, Aoi! It's really no problem at all!" Uruha gushed, getting up from the bed and helping Aoi up.
"Okay then, I'll drive you guys to Uruha's." Aoi's mom said, leading the way out of the hospital.
