I should be used to this, but...

... how much stuff do you pack for a one-month vacation?

I haven't even started packing yet and it's already driving me insane! *lol*

-2 days! :)

To celebrate, I made two NYC icons I'll be using to update my LJ from there...

Wow!! That seems to have come round so quickly! I'm so so excited for you, you're going to have the best time. :)

I have no idea how much you'd pack for a months vacation, i always seem to either drastically over/underestimate! Packing and me, we're definitely not friends! ;)

*whispers*

Pack just enough to leave room for me in your suitcase. Do I have time to get to you so that you can pack me? ;)

I'd give just about anything to hitch a ride right now. *smiles*

I'm a serious over-packer who always hears about it from the paternal figure when he catches sight of my bags, no matter where I'm going, or for how long. Then again, this is the same person who packs for a week and fits it all in a bag meant for carrying cosmetics or something, so I ignore him. ;)

I'm -so- excited for you! Countdown New York!

Oh, Deb, you know I'd LOVE to do that! I mean, I wouldn't want you to spend ten hours locked inside my suitcase (I'd rather have you sitting right next to me on the plane 'cause let me tell you, it sucks travelling alone) but spending some time with you would be awesome.

I'm holding onto the hope that we can do that next summer. Start clearing your schedule 'cause I won't take no as an answer... ;)

Next summer, I definitely have it in my mind and life's plan to take on New York for a little bit---a lifelong friend of mine is getting married in September, so I'm positive that I'll get there for at least a few days, because there's no way I'm missing that wedding, or New York in general, any longer---and I'd -LOVE- it if our paths could collide. :)

Also, this is a stupid aside, but if Cold Case is playing its episodes in order, then the one airing this Sunday at 8PM on CBS would be "Wishing," which was one of my favorite episodes of the season, second only to the George series and one other amazing show that dives into Jeffries past and the Civil Rights Movement, the name escapes me right now.

If it's the right episode, it will be one about a mentally challenged teenager.

Just in case you do have a chance to catch it 'live,' I think you might like it. :)
