I can see why junkies would not want to have kids. And I can see why people would think junkies should not have kids.

Even so... this strikes me as... as... not wrong, exactly, since they give their consent, but...

I've heard that one and I was so confused... my knee jerk reaction was "OMG that is soooo awful".

Then, well, I thought to myself: it's voluntary, and kids not having such a rough start in life is not such a bad thing. Plus, they give them some money.

Then, I thought, yeah, but what if in 10 years, they're sober, life's going well and they want a kid (I know most of those procedures can be reversed, but it's not especially easy).

In the end, I don't know, it still leaves me with a bitter feeling, so I guess, it's a no from me even I can't really make up my mind.

Plus, the EU will apparently make a law to have this made illegal.

I am glad I am not the only one who see this thing lying right in the middle of a big moral grey area.
