As to your question, I was at York St John but only did a year there. It's a long story but I didn't get along with my housemates and so moved home after 4 weeks. I live in Middlesbrough so getting up at 5.30 every morning to get to York for 9am lectures was killing me and took all the fun out of uni. I've just finished my first year at Keele uni, the only course they could get me on was English and American Studies as they're a dual honours uni and I applied half-way thru yeat at York, but I'm loving it there. My boyfriend and best friendare there too so makes it more fun

Liesl is *the* best! I love her! But not in a freaky way :0S I think she's the best teahcer there too, althought Andy Gordon is quite good from what I've heard.
That's shocking what time you had to get up, there is no-way I would have managed that!
My friend is doing the same course as you at st.john and she loves it what do you think of it?

Yea I'm really enjoying my English and American studies courses and I've made some really good friends as well so it's all good :D

Liesl was brilliant! she wrote my referral letter to Keele as well so she helped me out in a big way. Lol, me and my friends used to say Andy Gordon looks like a cross between Robert Lindsay and Gollum...harsh I know but he has got nasty teeth, very Gollum-like :D Is Jo Vickery still there? He was ok too and I was really shocked when I learnt he'd had a brain haemmorage (or something along those lines) because he always managed to be there for our lessons and would go to the hospital to be checked out most days, was really strong and brave of him. He was a lovely guy but his lessons could be a little slow lol. I kind of miss being there but only because of the friends I made, I hated the commuting and being away from my boyfriend lol. Are you enjoying being there?
