Turns out Ruby was having what are known as petit-mal convulsions, in other words, she was halfway to a full-blown epileptic fit. The vet reckons it's probably the heat that brought it on but in case it ever happens again she's prescribed some Valium for her. She also said that if it happens again in the next 6 weeks I have to take her back for

yea me too :D it was so scary but now she's been fine for 2 days in a row so she should be good from now on *crosses fingers*

*hugs* It's so frustrating when our babies hurt or are sick and we don't know what to do to help them.

I hope she doesn't have any more.

Thank you *hugs* it was scary but she's doing ok now so hopefully it was just that she wasn't used to the weather and she'll never have another one :) but you're right, I hate not knowing what's wrong when they're ill and I wish there was some way they could tell us what was wrong :S but both her and her mam are their normal bouncy happy selves again so it's all good :D
